Locally owned and operated for over 90 years, The Drees story began in 1928 under the leadership of Theodore Drees, a German immigrant, who settled in Northern Kentucky. He had a strong work ethic and a single-minded dedication to achieving the American Dream. The first home Theodore built in Wilder, Kentucky still stands today – a testament to his enduring legacy.

Theodore’s son, Ralph Drees, further instilled strong values into the family business. It was his philosophy of diversification and industry leadership that expanded the company with the successful implementation of the first planned unit development in Northern Kentucky.
Drees Homes thrives today under the leadership of David Drees, Theodore’s grandson and Ralph’s son. While the values of excellence and integrity has served the company well for more than 90 years, 21st century technology and the efficiencies it provides has been integrated into building Drees homes and communities.
